Abstract

More and more companies are planning to make investments to improve their qualitative and quantitative advantages. The use of computerized decision support systems has many advantages, including being more efficient, more accurate, reliable, and increasing economic benefits. Companies need to invest to support their business processes.

When investing, companies need a large amount of capital and management must have knowledge about investments in order to determine investments that are worthy of financing and do not cause losses for the company and support the company's vision and mission. To demonstrate the feasibility of an investment, there are several methods that can be used. One of them is the Net Present Value (NPV) method.

The existence of a decision support system that can measure the feasibility of an investment using the NPV method can reduce large losses for a company. So that the information system will be a reference in planning and making investments that will be carried out.
